Our volcano research:
- Where is it? Western United States
- What is its name? Yellowstone Caldera (also known as Yellowstone Supervolcano
- Is it extinct? No
- Dormant or Active? Yes
- What type of volcano is it? The Yellowstone Supervolcano is a Caldera type meaning the volcano its self have collapsed inwards into itself due to lack of magma, making it a large volcanic crater.
- How are these types formed (Include diagram)? A caldera is a volcanic feature formed by the collapse of a volcano into itself, making it a large, special form of volcanic crater. A caldera collapse is usually triggered by the emptying of the magma chamber beneath the volcano, as the result of a large volcanic eruption.

Next steps are to plan our model,
What are we going to make it out of? We will be making the outside of the volcano with flour and water.
How will you make it erupt?
What landscape will you paint it on? A red rock enviroment
Who will bring what materials? Liam will bring the bottle for the main structure of the volcano.
And the final step.........................................BUILDING TIME
Update:
So far we have constructed our volcano though we didnt get the time to paint but the next step is to make them erupt!
Here is a photo of our caldera volcano.
